It’s numbing to watch the news and read online of what is going on in San Diego. I have cousins that live there and I am told they’re all ok (and thankfully, so is their house). One of my favorite bloggers, Beth, is in San Diego and has reported in she is ok as well. Whew.
I’m asking each of you to take a few minutes, and just donate whatever amount you can to the Red Cross.

Hi Steve, thanks the nice comment on my blog. I’ve always managed to miss you when chatting with David – maybe some day we will meet.
If you are ever in the south part of town check out Indochine Cuisine http://www.indochine-cuisine.com/about.htm
They mark the items on the menu that can be made gluten free(menu is online at the link above).
This is an excellent place and one of the very few places I go out to eat in Parker because chain food is so boring.
Steve, I too have an Aunt, Uncle, and a few cousins out there in the San Diego area. They were all evacuated from their homes already, and so far they have escaped without harm to person or property. Let’s hope that these fires come to an end there soon.
My best friend is in Orange County, and I am set to fly out there on Friday. So far she is ok, but who knows what will happen with those crazy winds! Hope you are well Steve, Tiff
