One of my readers emailed the other day telling me that epicurious.com has gluten free recipes on their site (thanks, Janine!). And not only does epicurious have lots of gf recipes on their site, they are actually promoting this area of their site from their home page (see picture below). If you go to epicurious.com, go to Advanced Search and there is a field to check off for gluten-free in the recipe search.
My only complaint to them is their ad reads “Recipe and tips for going wheat-free”. As anyone who has Celiac or is gf knows, wheat free doesn’t mean gluten free. There could be other forms of gluten in items that are wheat free. At least they mention these other sources of gluten in their article. The way I refer to it, is to remember BROWM (Barley Rye Oats Wheat Malt). Yes, there are other culprits, but these are the main ones that everyone knows (come on, how many average consumers know what spelt is?).
